Stage two of the Merrifield city town centre is complete.

The centre held a day of community celebrations late last month to mark the milestone.

Centre manager Kylie Robertson officially opened the centre for local families and residents, and said she was thrilled to see so many locals in attendance.

“It has been great to see so many people from our local community come down today to celebrate the launch of Merrifield City’s stage two,” Ms Robertson said.

“We’re thrilled to welcome this second round of dynamic, convenience-based retailers to our community as part of our long-term vision to transform Merrifield City into the region’s premier shopping, dining, civic and cultural hub.”

Many stores were opened as part of the second stage, including Aurum Espresso, Fish Salt, Quality Fresh Meats, Zet & Zaatar, Merrifield City Medical, Donnybrook Dental, Bombay Real Estate and Daniel’s Doughnuts.
