Construction is underway at Mill Park Library to extend and alter the car park, to provide easy access for visitors.
There will be 33 spaces added to the car park, and will include changes to the existing access and turning lanes.
New footpaths, lighting and landscaping are also included in the upgrades.
The library will remain open during construction.
It is expected to be completed in June 2022.
