More COVID-19 exposure sites identified

Exposure sites in Epping, Campbellfield, Craigieburn and Broadmeadows have been identified.

Five sites have been identified as tier one exposure sites.

Anyone who attended any of the following venues within the listed times is required to get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days:

Southern Cross Medical Imaging in Epping on Monday between 9.45am and 10.35am;

Bizzler Take-Away Food on Barry Road, Campbellfield on Sunday between 2.30pm and 3.30pm;

McDonalds Craigieburn on Craigieburn Road West on Sunday between 11.50pm and 12.30pm, and on Tuesday between 1.35pm and 2.20pm;

Craigieburn Sporting Club on Monday between 10.45am and 2.30pm; and

Woolworths Craigieburn Plaza on Monday between 1.15pm and 2.15pm.

There are four tier our exposure sites within the Hume and Whittlesea municipalities.

Anyone who attended any of the following venues within the listed times should get tested urgently and isolate until receiving a negative result.

O’Herns Road/Dalton Road Medical Centre on Monday between 9.45am and 10.35am;

ACL Collection Centre in Epping on Monday between 9.45am and 10.35am;

Epping North Dental Clinic on Monday between 9.45 and 10.35am; and

Arrow Petroleum petrol station on Camp Road, Broadmeadows on Sunday between 10pm and 12.30am.

Campbellfield Plaza outside ATM on the Hume Highway has been listed as a tier three exposure site.

Anyone who attended the site on Wednesday between 3.15pm and 4.05pm should monitor for symptoms.

Meanwhile Woolworths has confirmed that it’s supermarket at Craigieburn Plaza has also been identified as an exposure site.

It is unclear whether the store is a tier one or tier two site as it is yet to be added to the department of health’s exposure site list.

Woolworths said a confirmed case visited its supermarkets at Craigieburn Plaza and Craigieburn Central, both on Monday between 1:00pm and 2:30pm.

“As a food retailer, we already have very high standards of cleaning and hygiene in place, and the [stores] had a detailed deep clean overnight on Wednesday,” a statement by the retailer said.

“Customers and team members should be assured they can continue to safely shop and work at our Woolworths Craigieburn Plaza [and Craigieburn Central stores].”
