The intersection at Bridge Inn Road and Sackville Street in Mernda has reopened after an upgrade to improve safety and traffic flow.
Traffic lights, new asphalt, street lighting were installed as part of the upgrade as well as the realignment of the footpath.
A temporary stop sign has also been installed at Sackville Street until the traffic lights are turned on, which is expected for later this month.
