Annual Easter egg hunt to raise money for Mernda CFA

The Easter Bunny is coming to Mernda.

Mernda CFA is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt on April 20 to help raise money for the brigade.

The event is the brigade’s main fundraiser for the year.

Fundraising committee member Nella Palmieri said money raised at this year’s Easter egg hunt would help buy a new vehicle.

The event will feature seven hunts for different age groups, including adults.

There will also be emergency services displays, entertainment, rides, food trucks and market stalls.

Early bird tickets are $30 if bought before April 15 and include unlimited rides and one entry to a hunt. Tickets are $35 at the gate.

The event will be held at Mernda Primary School, 25 Everton Drive, from 10am.
