Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to a house fire in Meadow Heights this morning, January 12.
A call about smoke coming from a garage alerted FRV to the fire, 30 firefighters were sent to the scene at Cassina Drive.
Firefighters arrived at the single-story brick veneer house which was on fire about 7.17am.
It was confirmed that no one was inside the house before firefighters conducted an internal attack to fight the blaze.
The cause of the fire has been determined to be electrical, a council building surveyor has been requested to attend and inspect the site.
