Epping Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are appealing for information from the public after a man exposed himself in a park in Epping on Saturday.

Police have been told a woman was walking to the Epping railway station on Grand Parade at 6.50am when she saw a man holding his penis and masturbating.

The man was in clear view of the play equipment and even though he was seen by the woman, he continued to masturbate.

There were no children in the park at the time.

Police have released a face image of the man they believe will assist them with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be of Asian appearance, aged in his 20s, approximately 165cm tall, with a medium build and fluffy black hair.

He was wearing a high visibility yellow and blue jacket and was carrying a plastic bag at the time.
