A motorcycle collision in Broadmeadows has left one person dead and another fighting for their life.
The male rider, who collided with a car at the intersection of Widford and Lahinch streets about 8.30pm, died at the scene.
A female passenger was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle is assisting police with their investigations but the exact circumstances of the crash are yet to be determined.
