A 42-year-old Campbellfield man has been charged with murder following the death of another man last night.
Emergency services were called to an alleged stabbing at a house on Augusta Avenue, Campbellfield about 9.10pm on Wednesday.
Police said a 61-year-old Campbellfield man was treated by paramedics at the scene, but died from his injuries.
Two man were arrested on Wednesday night.
The 42-year-old man has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
A 51-year-old man, also from Campbellfield, has been released without charge.
