Man arrested following alleged Mickleham shooting

A man has been arrested following a non-fatal shooting in Mickleham yesterday.

Police said the 30-year-old was arrested in the CBD today about 1.20pm, and is now being interviewed by police.

Officers have been unable to locate his vehicle, believed to be a gold Mercedes Sedan E Class (early 2000s model) with significant damage to the front.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with dash cam footage or CCTV around Hockley Avenue in Mickleham or Transit Drive in Campbellfield to come forward.

The arrest follows an incident where a 31-year-old Mickleham man was allegedly shot in his vehicle on Hockley Avenue, Mickleham, about 8am on Thursday morning, November 18.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
