Man arrested after Broadmeadows shooting

Police have arrested a man following a shooting in Broadmeadows on Sunday, September 28.

Emergency services were called to Pascoe Vale Road after reports a man had suffered a gunshot wound about 3.45pm.

A 22-year-old Meadow Heights man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and is yet to be released.

Public Safety Officers arrested a 26-year-old Roxburgh Park man at Coolaroo railway station about 4.30pm on Wednesday, October 1 after spotting the man who was wanted in relation to the alleged shooting.

The man remains in custody and will be interviewed in relation to the incident.

Investigators are not searching for any other offenders and would like to thank witnesses who came forward.
