A Lalor resident has become a newly-minted millionaire after winning division one in last night’s Wednesday Lotto draw.
The mystery player held one of the two division one winning entries nationally.
Each division one winner took home $1 million.
How the winner plans to enjoy their future as a millionaire will remain a mystery as they have chosen to stay anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winning entry was sold at Lalor Lucky Lotto in Station Street, Lalor.
Lalor Lucky Lotto team member Tina Gatto said it was welcome news for the community.
“We’re obviously in very strange times at the moment and people are really doing it tough, so this win has brought some excitement to the community,” she said.
“We’ve sold plenty of major prize-winning entries over the last few months.
“Congratulations to our latest winner, we hope they really enjoy their prize.”
