Low-cost pet vaccination comes to Mickleham and Kalkallo.
RSPCA Victoria is offering its low-cost pet vaccination days at Kalkallo Community Centre on November 28, Mickleham South Community Centre on December 5 and Mickleham North Community Centre on December 6.
The clinics, run by an RSPCA Victoria vet, are aimed at making veterinary care more accessible for people and their pets.
RSPCA Victoria head of prevention Rebecca Cook said they were looking forward to visiting Mickleham and Kalkallo.
“We’re hoping to see up to 25 local pets and their owners during each day over the coming weeks,” Ms Cook said.
“We know Mickleham and Kalkallo locals love their pets, and these clinics are a great way to help keep them happy and healthy.
“We want to help people care for their pets by increasing their access to veterinary and preventative care, which supports lifelong bonds among families with their cats and dogs.”
Appointments at the clinics must be booked online in advance with limited places available. Those with more than one pet must book a separate appointment for each animal.
For $53.29, a dog will receive their preventative vaccines and be checked by an RSPCA veterinarian to ensure they are fit for their vaccinations.
The team are unable to vaccinate cats but can still do basic health checks.
