Local artists to dazzle at CAPOW showcase

An electric night of homegrown talent is set to take centre stage at the Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre this Friday, as the Creative Arts Practitioners of Whittlesea (Capow) present Moments of Magic – a jam-packed evening of music, dance, spoken word, comedy and more.

For just $5, audiences can experience a vibrant mix of original performance and community spirit on June 20 at 7pm.

The one-night-only event is part of the Whittlesea’s 2025 PRACC Performance Season and shines a spotlight on the artists, musicians, and creatives who call the area home.

Tim Train, spoken word performer on the lineup, said it best: “Its fantastic to be performing for the community here in Whittlesea, and contributing in my own way to make this a great place to live.”

Singer-songwriter Mary Stoiceveska echoed the importance of such events.

“They give local artists the opportunity to share their music in a setting that encourages people’s love for music and helps to build Whittlesea’s music community.”

Expect a night full of energy, surprises and passion.

Want to take part next time? CAPOW welcomes creatives across all disciplines. Sign up for updates at whittlesea.vic.gov.au or email connectingcommunity@whittlesea.vic.gov.au.

Tickets are now available via www.pracc.com.au – and with a $5 price tag, this might just be the best value magic show in town.
