Life threatening stabbing in Broadmeadows

Police are investigating following reports of a stabbing in Broadmeadows on Wednesday, March 13.

It is understood a man was located with stab wounds at a property on Pearcedale Parade about 5.45am.

The victim, a 44-year-old Broadmeadows man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A second man who is believed to have been involved in the assault had left prior to police arrival.

A crime scene has been established.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established and an investigation remains ongoing.
