Four new kinder services will be opened in Melbourne’s north next year, which will help Victorian families to save time and dreaded double drop off.

The new services will be based at schools, including at Roxburgh Park Primary School, which will become a kindergarten service provider.

Children Minister Lizzie Blandthorn announced the service providers for four kindergartens on school sites in Victoria, saying families will be able to avoid a double drop off with children in kindergarten and primary school.

“Families know mornings can be the busiest time of day, that’s why we’re making school drop-offs faster and easier with more kinders on school sites right across the state,” she said.

Greenvale MP Iwan Walters said this program helps to provide an easier transition for children from kindergarten to primary school.

“Parents in Roxburgh Park will have access to a bigger range of world-class kindergartens for their children, with the brand new kinder located at Roxburgh Park Primary School helping to give local kids the best start in life and make their transition to school so much easier,” he said.
