Keep Hume clean

The next Hume Clean Day is coming up.

Held quarterly on the first weekend of March, June, September and December, Hume residents and residential ratepayers can take a number of items to resource recovery centres for free.

Items that can be dropped off include couches, mattresses, tyres and garden clippings (up to four cubic metres). A total number of 15 couches, mattresses and tyres apply.

Homeowners, renters and residential ratepayers living outside of Hume are all welcome at Hume Clean Days. Proof of Hume residency (e.g. a driver’s license or rates notice) is required at the gatehouse. Ratepayers living outside of Hume must show both their rates notice and a form of ID.

The next Hume Clean Day will be held on Saturday 7 March until Sunday 8 March at the Sunbury Resource Recovery Centre and the Bolinda Road Resource Recovery Centre.
