Hume Meadow Valley Ward councillor Karen Sherry has shared a message with the community for the holiday season.
“In 2022 I hope that residents can remain safe and well,” she says.
“That they will emerge to enjoy educational, employment and other recreational opportunities that other Melburnians take as their right.
“In 2021 the Hume community showed us that with the right support from council, health services and other community providers, they will respond in great numbers to seek vaccination services.
“The last two years have been hard on all of us but it has taught me that our community will stand strong and proud together in times of crisis.
“I am proud of all of you.
