Hume council is seeking faith leaders and community representatives of their faith group to be part of the 2026–2027 Hume Interfaith Network (HIN) executive team.
Roles are aimed at helping foster inclusive dialogue in and around Hume’s community, one of the fastest growing and diverse regions in Victoria.
Members with HIN collaborate with Hume’s council to deliver initiatives which aim to strengthen social cohesion, deepen mutual respect and promote community participation and wellbeing for community members across many different faiths.
The HIN coordinates activities for Harmony Week and Refugee Week celebrations, Places of Worship Tours, Multi-faith Planting Day and interfaith and community forums and events.
