Kick start the festive season at Hume’s carols by candlelight this Saturday.
The annual community event will be held at Craigieburn Anzac Park and will include The Project panelist and radio presenter Meshel Laurie as MC.
Singer Harrison Craig will perform some his favourite Christmas tunes, alongside local performers Naturally Cool Big Band, Divine Divas of Sunbury, and Victoria K.
There will also be a special visit from Chase and Marshall from Nickleodeon’s PAW Patrol and Santa.
Mayor Carly Moore said the carols by candlelight was a wonderful community tradition.
“I’m excited to see Anzac Park full of families and friends on Saturday night, enjoying the fantastic atmosphere,” she said.
“Growing up and raising my own children in Craigieburn, I have many fond memories of great evenings out with my family and friends at past carols by candlelight events.”
The event starts at 5pm with a jumping castle, food trucks and market stalls, with the carols beginning at 7pm.
The event will conclude with a firework display at 9.20pm.
