Investigation continues into Epping woman disappearance

Detectives are continuing to seek public assistance following the disappearance of Epping mother Ju Zhang.

After a public appeal over the weekend, 35-year-old Doncaster man Joon Soong Tan was arrested on Sunday afternoon. He was released without charge Monday evening, pending further inquiries.

Ju, also known as Kelly, was last seen at her home on Winchester Avenue about 5.30pm on Monday, February 1.

Ju was reported missing the following evening.

Her disappearance is considered extremely out of character, and police continue to have strong concerns for her welfare.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen Ju or has further information about her current whereabouts.

Anyone who sight’s Ju should contact triple-0 immediately.
