Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is adding extra lanes on Epping Road between Craigieburn Road East and Memorial Avenue, installing new traffic lights at Park Street, and upgrading intersections.
Over the coming months MRPV will carry out site investigations before major construction begins in early 2023.
The investigations will occur on Epping Road and local side roads between Craigieburn Road East and Memorial Avenue.
Speeds will be reduced to 40km/h.
There will be periodic lane closures from 7:00am to 3:00pm Wollert bound and 9:30am to 3:00pm city bound, Monday to Friday next month.
