You could help determine the new features that will shape the future of Lauries Field in Doreen.
Whittlesea council is putting together a draft of a master plan that aims to improve environmental sustainability and enjoyment of the park and the council wants you to share your ideas to make that a reality.
Your ideas will help the park become more accessible, fun, and enjoyable for all Doreen residents.
How do you use Lauries Field now? What kind of experiences in nature would you enjoy? Those questions need to be answered.
By suggesting your ideas for the future, the council will develop the draft master plan and share it with the community for further input.
Whittlesea chair administrator Lydia Wilson said the views of community were essential to helping shape the future of this valued green space.
“Lauries Field is a cherished part of our local community, and we are excited to hear how we can make it even better. Your input will be invaluable in helping shape the draft master plan. Together, we can create a beautiful open space that’s inclusive and meets the diverse needs of our residents,” Ms Wilson said.
“The draft master plan will be a 10-year roadmap for Lauries Field, and with your ideas, we can create something truly special.”
