Hume police need your help!

Hume police are calling on residents to take the time to fill out a survey to help them understand your needs and how they can better serve you.

Last year there were more than 200 respondents, however this year there have been less than 60 with 8 days remaining. The survey closes on Saturday, April 30.

Feedback provided will help police shape their response in Hume.

Be sure to select Hume as your local government area when taking the survey and share it around to as many people as you can.

Following the survey, Hume police will also host an online neighbourhood policing safety forum at the end of May.

Invitations will be sent out next week with a finalised date and details.

Locals are encouraged to join to raise any concerns they may have, ask questions and collaborate with other organisations and police.

Hume Inspector Dean Clinton will also provide advice on crime in the municipality, police activities since the last forum and highlight any new community priorities based on the outcome of the new survey.
