Hume libraries celebrate NAIDOC week

To kick start NAIDOC week celebrations, libraries across Hume are hosting story times for the kids.

On Tuesday, July 5, Craigieburn library children’s services technician Josie Mitzi read a range of books highlighting Indigenous history and culture.

This year NAIDOC Week is being celebrated from July 3-10, with a focus on the theme Get up! Stand Up! Show Up!

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held each year, to recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
