Hume council’s annual Community Grant Program is now open for applications for projects and initiatives that will bring the community together in 2024.
The program is open to community groups working and based in Hume that match the values of inclusivity, social justice and community engagement.
Council is asking for ideas from not-for-profit community groups for projects and activities that will celebrate Hume’s diverse cultures, support social connection and encourage community-led solutions to community needs.
The 2024 Community Grants Program includes funding opportunities up to $10,000.
In addition to the annual grant offerings covering operational costs, participation activities and projects, this year Hume council is also offering a one-off Specialist Partnership Grant to help groups re-engage with and grow their volunteer base.
Interested groups are encouraged to register and attend a Community Grants information session, happening online and in–person this week:
Monday, May 15, from 6-8pm hosted online
Tuesday, May 16, from 6-8.30pm at the Broadmeadows Community Hub
Wednesday, May 17, from 6-8.30pm at the Craigieburn Global Learning Centre
