A house in South Morang was extensively damaged by fire on Tuesday morning.
Crews attended a fire at a house on Trinity Way at 10.50am following a number of reports that a house was fully involved.
No-one was home at the time of the fire, with a pet dog moved to safety.
Extensive damage has occurred to the single storey brick house and garage, including roof collapse.
A building surveyor attended and some demolition may be required to make the area safe.
The fire has been deemed suspicious and police are investigating.
