Police will investigate a house fire that occurred on Tuesday morning in Broadmeadows.
Firefighters were called to the Ripplebrooke Drive property just after 7am, and were met with smoke coming from the roof of a single storey brick home.
Seven firefighting appliances attended the scene, with the fire brought under control in 25 minutes.
Crews remain on scene as they work to completely extinguish the fire, and monitor for any remaining hot spots.
Firefighters believe the fire may have started under suspicious circumstances, and the scene will be handed to police for further investigation
