Heritage plate auction announced

VicRoads have announced that their next heritage number plates auction will be on Tuesday, October 15.

Held at the Park Hyatt Melbourne, it will be VicRoads first in-person auction in two years.

To commemorate the occasion, a rare 3-digit plate 698 will be offered up for sale.

3-digit plates are exceptionally rare, with only 900 ever produced and the upcoming auction is considered a unique and exciting opportunity for motoring enthusiasts to own one.

Additionally, nine 4 and 5-digit heritage plates will also be auctioned and are expected to generate considerable interest and demand.

While the auction will be held in-person, bidders can still participate online.
