Calling all gardeners. Hume council and Sustainability Gardening Victoria will be hosting two workshops this months to help your garden thrive.

The first workshop is on Saturday, August 13, at Craigieburn Community Garden, from 10am-noon, and will focus on companion plants.

Gardeners will learn how to use companion plants to improve the health and productivity of their garden and to manage pests and diseases.

The second workshop will be at Roxburgh Park Community Gardens on the same day, from 2-4pm.

This workshop is about gardening in small spaces.

According to Hume council, its community gardens aim to promote the sharing of gardening knowledge, experiences and skills.
