DPV Health has won the ‘Premier’s Primary Healthcare Service of the Year’ award for a second year in a row.
The award was presented by Health Minister Mary-Anne Thomas at the 2024 Public Healthcare Awards on November 19.
The accolade is one of Victoria’s top titles for community health services – recognising leadership and excellence in the provision of publicly funded healthcare for the community.
“It was a career highlight to see DPV Health win this award again for a second time,” DPV Health chief executive Don Tidbury said.
“I am so proud of the entire DPV Health team and how they work together to get the best outcomes for the community and our clients.
“More importantly, these awards will create opportunities for DPV Health to expand services and launch new programs to meet the needs of Melbourne’s northern communities.”
On the same night, DPV Health also won the ‘Excellence in Multicultural Community Health’ award for its Bicultural Worker Health Literacy program.
“This award acknowledges DPV Health’s focus and commitment to our clients and diverse communities, and reaffirms our commitment to deliver excellent care, for every person every time,” Mr Tidbury said.
