What if you could influence the future of your neighbourhood in the time it takes to enjoy your morning coffee?
That’s exactly what Whittlesea is offering– a chance for randomly selected residents to have their voices heard and shape the city’s direction, one survey at a time.
Whittlesea is once again calling on the community to help shape its future– and it’s as easy as completing a short, 12-minute survey.
As part of its ongoing Community Insights Study, council is inviting randomly selected households to provide feedback on what matters most to them.
Conducted three times each year, the study provides a vital snapshot of residents’ lived experiences, helping inform council policies, services and strategic planning.
The latest round– open until Sunday, June 1– focuses on local decision-making, community participation and how people engage with events and entertainment.
Participants are chosen at random and contacted via mail or email.
Whittlesea Mayor Martin Taylor, said the study reflects one of council’s core values: listening to the community.
“Listening to our community is not just something we do from time to time– it’s central to how we lead and serve,” Cr Taylor said.
“Every voice matters. Whether you’re a commuter, a young person, a parent, senior, business owner or new to the area, your input helps us build a more inclusive, responsive and thriving community.”
