Police are investigating reports of gunshots in Thomastown this morning at 1am.
Emergency services were called to a property on Barry Road after people nearby reported hearing gunshots in the early hours of Tuesday, January 24.
A suspicious device was located, and people were evacuated from nearby properties, before the area was deemed safe.
There were no injuries and a crime scene remains in place.
Police are working to establish the exact circumstances around the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
