Two warrants were executed in Greenvale last week as part of an investigation into an incident in Mickleham in July.

Police said detectives from the Echo Taskforce Middle Eastern Organised Crime crew arrested a man on Friday, November 5, and seized what was believed to be over $1 million cash and about one kilogram of cocaine as part of an ongoing investigation in relation to a non-fatal shooting earlier this year.

No one was arrested as a result of these warrants.

A search warrant was also executed at a Moonee Ponds address and a 38-year-old Moonee Ponds man was arrested.

Police said the cash and drugs were also located at the address.

The man was subsequently interviewed and has been charged with possessing large commercial quantities of drugs and possessing proceeds of crime.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court at a later date.

The arrest and seizures form part of an investigation into an incident where a number of shots were allegedly fired into a house in Mickleham shortly after 3.20am on Sunday, July 11.

Police said no one was injured during the shooting.

Later that day, police said detectives located an allegedly stolen orange Porsche 911 GT3 coupe at a commercial premises in Somerton during their inquiries into the shooting.

Police said the vehicle, which is valued about $400,000, had been reported stolen from a property in Brighton on Sunday, May 23.
