Multicultural and multifaith communities in Victoria will be able to access funding to upgrade, renovate and build community facilities, if Labor is re-elected on November 26.
The Labor Party has promised $50 million to build, upgrade and renovate new community infrastructure for multicultural and multifaith communities, including those in Whittlesea and Hume.
Premier Daniel Andrews said the funding would support multicultural and multifaith communities will also celebrating Victoria’s diversity.
“Every community deserves great spaces to come together to celebrate and share in culture and tradition,” he said.
Our multicultural and faith communities are no different and this investment will make sure multicultural Victorians remain strong and connected.”
