Kerry Clarke sits on the Reflection Seat in the Whittlesea Community Garden, which has been developed as a commemorative place in tribute to the 173 lives lost in the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires. Clarke is a member of the Community Resilience Committee, which has organised a remembrance service on Friday when residents will observe one minute’s silence to remember loved ones who died in the blazes
