Last year’s redistribution has turned the electorate into one of Victoria’s most marginal, with the Coalition government believed to hold an advantage of 0.1 per cent over the Labor Party.
This has worked in favour of the voters, who have been promised everything from police stations to railway lines from all sides of politics.
