Kids under 16 can enter his year’s Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show for free, and prices for adults will be capped.
Showcasing Victorian grown flowers and the largest horticultural show in the southern hemisphere, the show runs from Wednesday, March 26 until Sunday, March 30.
Tickets will cost $40 for an adult for a day entry, with children under 16 admitted free.
There will be more affordable prices for afternoon entry, with tickets starting at $32.
Agriculture Minister Ros Spence said that the Flower and Garden Show is a “great way to spend the day with the family and experiencing the very best the Victorian horticultural farmers have to offer.”
The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show is one of the top five garden shows globally, and in previous years, it has attracted over 100,000 visitors and 800 exhibitors.
Victoria’s garden industry employs more than 11,000 people in jobs such as landscaping, gardening retail, turf production, allied trades, and floristry.
Visitors who have already purchased tickets for their children will automatically receive a refund.
