A fire broke out at the Laurimar Cricket Club rooms on Tuesday.
The Country Fire Authority crews responded to reports of smoke inside the building on Montville Street, Doreen about 11.37am on August 20.
Three units from Doreen and Mernda attended the scene alongside Fire Rescue Victoria crews and the relevant power and gas company.
They found flames had caused extensive damage to two rooms, however nobody was injured. The cricket club said on social media that the meeting and social rooms had been damaged.
The rooms will be off limits until further notice.
