If you’ve been dreaming of a furry friend to curl up with this winter, now’s your chance – and at half the usual cost.
The Wat Djerring Animal Facility in Epping has extended its half-price cat and kitten adoption campaign until the end of May, giving more would-be pet owners the opportunity to open their homes to a new feline companion.
The campaign has already struck a chord with locals.
In April, the facility celebrated a record-breaking 168 adoptions of cats and dogs.
Another 72 animals were transferred to rescue partners, and 54 were reclaimed by their owners– bringing the total number of animals finding home or reuniting with families to a whopping 294 in just one month.
All adopted cats come health-checked, vaccinated, microchipped and desexed, ensuring they’re ready to become part of your family.
Despite the success there are still plenty of cats and kittens eagerly waiting to meet their perfect match.
Located at 20 Companion Place, Epping, the facility is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am–4pm; Tuesday and Thursday from noon–6.30pm; and Saturday from 11am-3pm.
Closed Sundays and public holidays.
Don’t miss the chance to get a meow-gnificent cat or kitten at half price.
