Fifteen new Hume exposure sites identified

Three new tier one exposure sites have been identified in Hume.

It comes as Victoria recorded 208 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 this morning.

The Department of Health said 96 of the cases were linked to known outbreaks.

The department has not provided information about how many cases were in isolation during their infectious period.

The department also confirmed that another person with COVID-19 has died.

Tiba’s Restaurant Roxburgh Park on Somerton Road, Coolaroo, has been identified as a tier one exposure site on five days: August 23 between 6-9pm, August 26 between 7.33-9.30pm, August 27 between 9.30-10pm, August 29, 5.20-6.03pm and August 30 between noon-5pm.

Sacca’s Fruit World at Broadmeadows Central has been listed as a tier one site on August 27 between 2-4pm.

Sparkling Beverages on Somerton Park Drive, Campbellfield, has been identified as tier one site on August 30 between 6.50am-5pm.

Anyone who visited a tier one site during the listed times must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from exposure.

A number of tier two exposures sites in Hume has also been listed. They are:

– Freshplus Craigieburn on August 30 between 6.30-7.30pm;

-Coles at Broadmeadows Central on August 27 between 3.30-4.30pm;

-Coles at Campbellfield Plaza on August 29 between 10-11.30am and 4.14-5.07pm, and August 26 between 9.44-10.25am;

– Aldi at Campbellfield Plaza on August 29 between 11am-noon;

– Stockland Highlands Display Village and Sales Centre, North Shore Drive, Craigieburn, on August 30 between noon-3pm and on August 31 between noon-3pm;

-Snax at Campbellfield Plaza on August 30 between 10am-5.30pm, August 29 between 1.30-5.30pm, August 28 between 10am-5.30pm, August 26 between 10am-5.30pm and August 25 between 10am-5.30pm;

-United Broadmeadows, Maygar Boulevard, Broadmeadows, on August 30 between 5-5.40pm;

-BP Merrifield, Donnybrook Road, Mickleham on August 31 between 10.50am-12.20pm;

-Jack Roper Reserve, Camp Road, Broadmeadows, on August 30 between 10am-noon;

-Barry Road Medical Centre, Campbellfield, on August 30 between 9.30-10.10pm;

-Aldi Gladstone Park on August 31 between 2.48-3.38pm; and

– Merrifield City Shopping Centre, Mickleham, on August 30 between 6.10-6.40pm.

Anyone who visited a tier two exposure site during the listed times must get tested immediately and isolate until they receive a negative result.
