More than 100 people are expected to flock to Gladstone Park this Sunday for a day of festive fun.
The annual All 4 The Kidz event at Tecoma Court raises funds and donates them to the Royal Children’s Hospital.
The day is headlined by pony rides and a jumping castle, the event has plenty on offer for all, with a sausage sizzle available, as well as face painting, raffles, and prizes.
Fundraiser organiser Rita Allawi is so passionate about raising funds as it is close to her heart.
Ms Allawi’s younger cousin tragically passed away, and she started the fundraiser in memory of him and to give back to the RCH for their care and compassion.
“I am incredibly excited about this weekend’s All 4 The Kidz Christmas fundraiser because it’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and raise some money for a very important cause,” she said.
“We started as a small community fundraiser a few years ago just among the neighbours in the street, but each year more and more people were keen to get involved and spread some Christmas cheer for a very worthy cause.
“Now, people come from all across the community to participate. I think that’s what makes it so special; it is built and driven by everyday people in our community.
“Everyone has really come together to chip in and create a fantastic event, which is now a wonderful Christmas tradition for our neighbourhood.
The event will run from 1.30-6pm.
