Investigations are ongoing by Victoria Police following a fatal crash in Oaklands Junction early this morning.
Emergency services were called out after reports a car had struck a tree off Somerton Road near Oaklands Road at about 12.50am.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 52-year-old Meadow Heights man, died at the scene.
The exact circumstances and cause of the crash are yet to be determined and investigations continue.
