An 87-year-old Tullamarine woman has died after being hit by a car.
Police say a Toyota Hilux and pedestrian collided on Broadmeadows Road on Thursday June 29, at about 6.40am.
Emergency services attended the scene and the pedestrian, an 87-year-old Tullamarine woman, was transported to hospital but died a short time later.
The driver of the Toyota stopped and remained at the scene and has spoken with police.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
