Hume city council has scheduled an additional clean day for Saturday April 9 from 8am-4pm.
Residents are encouraged to bring along any mattresses, tyres, couches, whitegoods and e-waste items to one of their Resource Recovery Centres and dispose of them at no cost.
Last clean up day, residents disposed of over 400 mattresses, almost 500 tyres and 103 couches.
Locals who have already used their tip vouchers this year will also receive an extra one for use until end of June 2022.
