Epping CFA’s Santa surprise

Santa is swapping his sleigh and reindeer for a fire truck as he attempts to make his way around Epping before Christmas.

Epping CFA has an ambitious plan to help the big man in red visit every street in Epping by Christmas Eve.

The brigade and Santa began making their rounds late last month to reach as many streets as possible.

Epping CFA captain Rob Saitta said the brigade had been organising the Santa run for more than 30 years.

He said the brigade loved seeing the joy on childrens’ faces when Santa arrived in their street.

The brigade’s Facebook page will be updated each day with details of where Santa will be visiting that night.

This year, the brigade is also selling Christmas trees to raise money for the station. Orders can be placed via eppingcfa.com.au or by dropping into the station.
