Earthquake double take

Following last week’s 2.2 magnitude earthquake that was felt throughout Roxburgh Park, Meadow Heights and Craigieburn, Melbourne’s north has been hit again over the long weekend, just before midnight on Friday.

According to Geoscience Australia, the 2.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at a depth of just two kilometres, meaning it was extremely close to the surface.

More than 180 people reported that they felt the earthquake.
