The 30-year-old came to the attention of police on Roxburgh Park Drive, on Tuesday, February 15, after his scooter was detected travelling at 22 km/h.

Police said the man tried to evade officers, sparking a short foot pursuit.

The man was arrested and charged with nine offences including driving while disqualified, using an unregistered motor vehicle, evading police and exceeding the prescribed concentration of drugs.

The scooter was impounded at a cost of $1042.
