Drunk P-plater tests 1.58% after Greenvale crash

A P-plate driver was caught drink driving after crashing into a parked car in Greenvale this morning.

Broadmeadows officers were called to the crash on Kirkham Drive about 2.30am after the driver sitting in the parked car alerted police.

A 21-year-old woman returned a positive preliminary breath test and was taken to a nearby police station where she returned a blood alcohol concentration of .158%

The Greenvale woman is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic related offences.
