Hume Winter Lights Festival is only one night away, and DPV Health will be putting on a light show at the Broadmeadows Town Hall from 6-10pm tomorrow night.

DPV Health’s ‘Parts Moving in Harmony’ is a community-engaged art project and coincides with Harmony Day 2021, offering community members an opportunity to express their identity and narrate their own stories.

Artists Jim Coad, Helen Kelly and Leonie Van Eyk hosted a workshop, inviting community members in Hume to create pin puppets around the themes of culture, identity and belonging.

The process of making and animating pin puppets gave the participants an opportunity to express their identity and narrate their own stories.

This work is about the extraordinary capacity communities have for storytelling through creative self-expression.
